A San Diego Comic-Con International será realizada nos Estados Unidos, de 24 a 27 de julho deste ano. Como já é tradicional, durante o evento ocorrerá a 26ª edição do Prêmio Eisner.

A Image Comics continua a surpreender e ficou na liderança com 20 indicações, seguida de perto pela Fantagraphics, com 18. Matt Fraction e David Aja também estão entre os indicados, graças ao seu trabalho na revista Hawkeye, da Marvel Comics. A Vertigo marcou presença com algumas indicações, embora as revistas tradicionais da DC Comics tenham ganhado pouca atenção.

As mulheres também estão marcando presença, com Emma Ríos, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Jordie Bellaire, Isabel Greenberg, Fiona Staples, Faith Erin Hicks e Becky Cloonan.

Três revistas foram indicadas em quatro categorias: Hawkeye (Marvel Comics), Saga (Image Comics) e The Wake (Vertigo/DC Comics).
